What are your fees?

$250 per session.

(Fees may vary depending on recommended session extensions or types of treatment - i.e., EMDR, The Safe and Sound Protocol).

-  EMDR: $250 per session

-  The Safe and Sound Protocol: The Safe and Sound Protocol is part of a comprehensive treatment plan and is offered to existing clients in treating their developmental trauma symptoms.  To participate only in the Safe and Sound Protocol, the fee is $1,000 which would include an initial 1 hour in-person or on-line session, check-ins before and after each SSP session (there are 10 - one hour remote SSP sessions total, not including the "Balance" part of the program).

How long does a single therapy session last?

50 minutes.

 

Do you offer a sliding scale fee?

We have limited appointment slots available for those who cannot afford the full fee. Please set up your free 15 minute phone consult to inquire further.

 

Are you in network with my insurance?

Although Be Like Water Marriage and Family Therapy is not on any insurance panels, we are happy to provide a super bill for you which will be generated and sent to you every month. You can then bill your insurance through your out of network coverage. Everyone has different coverage, so we encourage you to call your insurance company and ask them “What do you cover for out of network mental health services?” We are also happy to call your insurance for you to find out what out of network benefits you have. What is your cancellation policy?

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
